Morocco’s Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communications has partnered with telecom operator inwi to launch a new startup challenge aimed at accelerating innovation in digital entertainment and gaming technologies.
The initiative focuses on developing solutions powered by V-game machines, with the potential for seamless integration into inwi’s digital platforms. It is part of broader efforts to stimulate creativity within Morocco’s startup ecosystem while strengthening the country’s footprint in the fast-growing global gaming industry.
According to organisers, the competition will provide selected startups with structured support, mentorship, and follow-up mechanisms to help refine their ideas and bring them closer to commercial viability.
Participants will also gain exposure at the Morocco Expo for the Electronic Games Industry 2026, a major industry gathering expected to showcase cutting-edge developments in gaming and interactive technologies.
As an added incentive, the winning startup will receive a grant of 100,000 Moroccan dirhams from inwi. The funding is intended to support product development and help scale innovative solutions toward market readiness.
Further details on eligibility criteria and application procedures are expected to be released through official channels in the coming weeks.
