Telecommunications giant Globacom has announced an upgrade to its popular Glo Data Bundles, offering subscribers more data at no extra cost. The move reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering superior value and satisfaction to its growing customer base.
In a statement released on Thursday, Globacom said the revised data plans are enhanced versions of its existing daily, weekly, and monthly bundles. These upgrades provide subscribers with larger data volumes while maintaining the same affordable prices, giving users greater flexibility for streaming, gaming, social media, video calls, and other online activities.
More Data for Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Users
For daily internet users, Glo’s ₦100 plan has been upgraded from 105MB to 125MB, allowing light users to browse, chat, and stream short videos more comfortably.
Similarly, weekly subscribers now enjoy more browsing power. The ₦1,500 weekly bundle, for instance, has been increased from 5.9GB to 6GB, giving users longer and smoother access to their favorite online services.
Globacom also revealed that students will benefit from an enhanced Campus Booster Plan, which now comes with higher data allocations to support academic research, online learning, and social connectivity across campuses.
Easy Access and Flexible Usage Options
According to the company, the revised bundles are available to all Glo customers, prepaid, postpaid, and hybrid. Users can easily purchase bundles by dialing *312#, or via the Glo Café app on both Android and iOS devices.
The company emphasized that data from these plans can be used across all internet services and shared or gifted through *312# or the Glo Café app.
Subscribers also receive real-time notifications when their data usage reaches 75% and 100%, helping them track consumption and plan renewals efficiently.
Data Rollovers and Multiple Subscriptions Supported
Unused data will be automatically rolled over when customers renew before expiry or purchase another bundle within the grace period, which ranges from one to seven days depending on the plan.
Globacom also supports multiple active data subscriptions, enabling users to manage more than one bundle at a time for greater convenience.
