NITDA Wraps Up 2025 Renewed Hope Initiative, Empowering Women Across Nigeria in ICT

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) completes the 2025 Renewed Hope Initiative Women in ICT Training, equipping Nigerian women nationwide with digital skills, confidence, and tools to excel in the technology sector.

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has successfully concluded the 2025 edition of its Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) Women in ICT Training, a programme launched in 2023 to advance women’s involvement in technology. The closing ceremony, officiated by Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, marked the culmination of intensive training across all six geopolitical zones of Nigeria: North Central, North East, North West, South East, South South, and Southwest.

Empowering Women With Digital Competence

Participants gained crucial digital skills, amplified their voices in the tech space, and developed the confidence to pursue opportunities in the digital economy. The initiative has positively impacted hundreds of women nationwide, demonstrating the power of equipping women with technology and knowledge to shape their professional futures.

NITDA’s Commitment to Inclusion and Empowerment

NITDA Director General, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, reaffirmed the agency’s dedication to digital inclusion and empowering Nigerian women in ICT. He stressed the significance of providing women with practical skills to thrive in an evolving digital landscape.

Providing women with the right digital skills ensures their active participation in the growing digital economy and supports national development,” Abdullahi said.
