Russian Tech Firms Set to Showcase Digital Innovations at GITEX Africa 2026

Russian Export Center (REC) has announced plans to host a large-scale “Made in Russia” pavilion at GITEX Africa 2026, positioning Russian technology companies as key partners in driving digital transformation across African markets.

The event, scheduled to take place from April 7 to 9 in Marrakech, Morocco, is one of Africa’s leading technology gatherings, bringing together businesses, government officials, and investors exploring digital solutions for emerging economies.

Over 20 Firms to Showcase Advanced Technologies

According to REC, the pavilion will feature more than 20 Russian companies presenting a broad range of innovations, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, fintech, telecommunications, robotics, and unmanned aerial systems.

The initiative is designed to go beyond product demonstrations by promoting integrated digital ecosystems aimed at strengthening what organisers describe as “technological sovereignty.”

Driving Digital Partnerships in Africa

Speaking on the development, Alexey Andreev said Russian firms are well-positioned to support Africa’s digital growth with comprehensive solutions.

“Russian companies can offer African partners a wide range of solutions—from proprietary operating systems and telecom infrastructure to smart systems and secure collaboration platforms,” he noted. “We are delivering not just products, but full digital ecosystems that can accelerate economic development.”

Spotlight on Innovation and Security

Among the participating companies are SpetsPromDesign LLC, known for its cloud-based access control systems, and Telcor LLC, which specialises in mobile core network technologies.

Some exhibitors will carry the “Made in Russia” certification, which REC says assures quality standards, data security, and readiness for international markets.

Building on Previous Engagements

REC highlighted its participation at GITEX Africa 2025, where it facilitated over 400 business meetings with African stakeholders, including organisations such as APEBI and AUSIM.

The centre says this year’s expanded presence reflects rising demand for technology partnerships across the continent and underscores its commitment to fostering long-term collaboration with African industries.

As Africa’s digital economy continues to grow, the showcase at GITEX Africa 2026 is expected to open new opportunities for cross-border innovation and investment.
