Dash Microfinance Bank Limited has launched a new mobile banking platform, the Dash App, as part of efforts to expand access to digital financial services and strengthen engagement with retail customers and small businesses across Nigeria.
The app allows users to perform everyday banking transactions—including fund transfers, account management, and service requests—directly from their smartphones, reducing dependence on physical branches and enhancing convenience.
Speaking on the launch, Managing Director and CEO Awofisibe Rotimi said the platform reflects the bank’s commitment to delivering seamless, user-centric financial solutions.
“The app is designed to give customers greater control over their finances, enabling them to interact with the bank anytime and from anywhere,” he said.
Rotimi added that the bank’s strategy goes beyond competition, focusing instead on addressing real-life financial needs, particularly for underserved individuals and small businesses. According to him, the app is tailored to align with how Nigerians manage income, expenses, and financial growth.
The launch underscores a broader shift within Nigeria’s financial sector, where institutions are increasingly adopting digital-first models to remain competitive in a fast-evolving fintech landscape.
Available on both Android and iOS devices, the Dash App is expected to accelerate user adoption and boost digital engagement. Since commencing operations in 2025 under the regulation of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the bank has prioritised technology-driven solutions to promote financial inclusion and support economic activity nationwide.
