Algerian telecom operator Djezzy has unveiled a new artificial intelligence (AI) cloud platform in partnership with public accelerator Algeria Venture and tech startup Taubyte, marking a significant step in the country’s push to strengthen its digital economy.
The platform, named AventureCloudz, was officially launched on April 29, 2026, at Djezzy’s headquarters. It is designed as a full-stack AI development environment that enables developers, startups, and enterprises to build, deploy, and scale applications more efficiently.
According to the company, AventureCloudz will be hosted exclusively on Djezzy’s cloud marketplace and powered by Taubyte’s open-source, Git-native technology. This positions the platform as a locally driven alternative to global cloud service providers, with a strong focus on accessibility and performance.
The collaboration with Algeria Venture and Taubyte is expected to accelerate innovation within Algeria’s tech ecosystem by reducing development timelines and enhancing access to advanced cloud-based tools. It also aims to support emerging talent and startups by providing a secure and scalable environment for AI development.
Djezzy said the initiative aligns with its broader digital transformation strategy, emphasizing the importance of building local infrastructure to boost technological independence and global competitiveness.
With AventureCloudz, the partners are looking to expand opportunities for innovation while reinforcing Algeria’s position in the rapidly evolving AI and cloud computing landscape.
